What does a faithful witness look like when people might be upset by what we believe?
Paul in Athens (Acts 17.16-32)
- Paul’s was distressed by all of the idols in Athens (17.16)
- Athens was a tough place to share the gospel (17.17-21)
- Paul begins with common ground, and then points to Jesus (22-31)
- The response is mixed (32-34)
Application:
- Believe & live like we have something of great worth that everyone needs
- Love our neighbors - for real (Mark 12.30-31)
