What we’re all about
Our goal is to help children get rooted in Jesus Christ & for them to share about Jesus with their friends. At First Free, we love to partner with parents to help kids grow in Jesus.
On Sunday mornings all kids (birth-fifth grade) are invited to join Bible Time and Children’s Church. Bible Time is during our 9:00 a.m. service and kids meet in classes by age and grade. The curriculum for all grades is The Gospel Project, where we are on our journey from the beginning of the Bible in Genesis through Revelation. Children’s Church happens during the 10:30 a.m. service. Elementary kids begin their time in the worship service with family, or caregivers. They are dismissed from the sanctuary before the sermon begins. Kids are divided into appropriate age groups where they will learn from the Bible. Nursery and Preschool are available for the entirety of both services each Sunday morning.
Wednesday night Creekside Clubs are for elementary kids from first through fifth grade. We meet on Wednesday nights at church from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Boys and Girls have an opportunity to spend time with leaders who care about them and want to invest in their lives—while pointing them to Jesus Christ. We do activities, games, hands-on projects, and learn from the Bible together.
