Nursery & Preschool

toddler-1a

Babies, toddlers, and two-year olds are invited into their special nursery space on Sunday mornings all year long. We have dedicated Nursery workers who shower our youngest children with love and attention. Babies, toddlers, and twos hear a simple Bible story, sing songs, and do age-appropriate activities that introduce them to Jesus and God’s Word.

Preschool is for three (by Sept.1), four, and five year olds who have yet to enter Kindergarten. Preschool runs all year long. Our preschool room is buzzing with playtime, Bible stories, songs, and crafts that revolve around God’s Word. This hands-on learning and playing experience is a chance for kids to have fun at church and to be with loving and caring leaders, who are introducing them to the love of God.

Sunday for Elementary Kids

creekside-sunday-21-1

On Sunday mornings from September–May, all elementary kids (kindergarten–fifth grade) are invited to join Bible Time and Children’s Church. Bible Time is during the 9:00 a.m. Community Hour and kids meet in classes by age and grade. Children’s Church happens during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Elementary kids begin their time in the service with family or caregivers. They are dismissed from the sanctuary before the sermon begins. Kids are divided into appropriate age groups where they will learn from the Bible. The curriculum for all grades and classes is The Gospel Project, where we are on our journey from the beginning of the Bible in Genesis through Revelation.

Wednesday Night
Creekside Clubs

Wednesday night Creekside Clubs are for elementary kids from first-fifth grade. We meet September–April on Wednesday nights at church from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Boys and Girls have an opportunity to spend time with leaders who care about them and want to invest in their lives—while pointing them to Jesus Christ. We do activities, games, hands-on projects, and learn from the Bible together.

Summer at Creekside

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, First Free moves to one Sunday service at 10 a.m. During the service, Nursery and Preschool classes are available throughout the summer. For the month of June, elementary kids (K–5th grade) are dismissed from the worship service prior to the sermon. Kids join leaders in one large group setting where they learn stories from the Bible and have fun together learning about Jesus. During the months of July and August, elementary kids experience the entire worship service and activity bags are provided.
