Children's Ministry

What we’re all about:

Our goal is to help children get anchored to Jesus & for them to share Him with their friends.  At First free we love to partner with parents to help kids grow in Jesus.

Creekside Nursery: Infants to Age 2

Available all Sunday morning

Children up to age 2 are cared for in a loving & safe environment during the entire Sunday morning. There are 4 fabulous nursery coordinators who oversee our nursery rooms & volunteer caregivers who are regularly assigned to the rooms. Parents need to stop by the check-in area to register new children or check in.

Creekside Preschool:  Ages 2-5

Kids are put into groups based on their age at the start of the school year in September.  If your child has a birthday during the school year, they will stay in the same group until the next fall.

Preschoolers engage in Bible stories, crafts, and play time. The children need to be checked-in and parents will be texted if needed.

Creekside Bible Time:  Grades K-6

During the first service, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m, BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 15TH, 2019

The students* meet in individual grade levels for “Bible Time” where they will have 1 or 2 consistent teachers who teach from the Discipleland curriculum. This is a time of building relationships with peers while establishing a firm foundation of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus!
K-3 parents must pick up their children at 10:00. 4-6th graders are dismissed on their own to go to fellowship time.

*K-4th graders go directly to Base Camp at 9:00 before going to their classrooms.

Creekside Kids Time:  Grades K-6

K-6th graders join their families in the 10:30 worship gathering and then they are dismissed at 11:00am for K-3 Kids Time and 4-6 Kids Time.  K-3rd graders gather for a large group lesson & then in small groups where they’ll have consistent adult or teen leaders. Parents need to pick up these children at the end of the hour. 4th-6th graders meet for a large group lesson where they explore topics from God’s word. This older group is dismissed at the end of the hour.

Wednesday Creekside Clubs

6:30-8:00 pm starting September 2019

Creekside Clubs provide a fun environment where men lead the boys & women lead the girls! The children play games in the gym, have Bible lessons, create projects & crafts, go on hikes, and enjoy special events, all while developing friendships.
