Mighty God

The Question:  How is Jesus our Mighty God?

    At his birth:   If so mighty why did he come as a baby?

    During his life:  If so mighty why did he become a servant?

    At the cross:  If so mighty, why did he go to the cross?

The Answer:  Jesus is our Mighty God . . .

. . . In becoming weak and vulnerable, he won the victory over temptation.

. . . In becoming weak and vulnerable, he won the victory over sin.

. . . In becoming weak and vulnerable, he won the victory over death. 

The Result:  You have the immeasurable greatness of His power at work in your life.  (Ephesians 1:19-20)

Take Home Idea: In his becoming weak and vulnerable Jesus, our Mighty God, was victorious.
