Biography/Description of Ministry
Matt and Audrey met in college in 2006 and were married in August 2009. After losing Matt’s younger brother Jonathan to cancer in 2011, they set out on a trip to India in 2013 to disperse funds donated in Jonathan’s honor and also to explore the idea of finding a Christian organization they could work with long term in India. God had other plans! He led them instead to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where they connected with Faithful Heart Foundation and felt a tug of real interest and a love for the orphan care model they have established--family-style orphan care. In 2015, Matt and Audrey made the move to Thailand and joined the staff of FHF. They welcomed a son in 2015 and a daughter in 2018!
The vision of Faithful Heart Foundation is to see every child in Thailand grow up in a healthy family, to see families strengthened to thrive on their own, and to see underserved communities have greater access to resources. This is done in multiple ways, from family strengthening, foster care, operating a children’s home, assisting in family reunification and offering college scholarships that help break the cycle of poverty.
