What about Kids on Sundays?
At First Free we love kids and are excited to welcome them to First Free!
- Creekside Kids is from birth through fifth grade. When you arrive, check in at the Creekside Cart at the north end of the main level. Kids receive a security name tag and parents receive a claim sticker before heading to classrooms.
- Nursery and Preschool are available from 9:00–11:30 a.m. on Sundays. Kids in kindergarten-fifth grade are invited to Bible Time classes from 9:00–10:00 a.m. and are with their caregivers during Fellowship Time. Kids in kindergarten-fifth grade begin with family or caregivers at 10:30 a.m. Worship Service and are dismissed to Children’s Church prior to the sermon starting. Caregivers pick kids up in Rooms 101 or 102 after the service. Check out the Creekside Kids page for more information about what we offer.
- Velocity Student Ministry is for Middle School and High School students. On Sunday, they gather in two groups for Bible teaching and discussion during the 9:00 a.m. Community Hour. Check out the Velocity Student Ministry page for more details on our youth program.
Where should I park?
We are located in south Minneapolis, on the corner of East 52nd Street and Chicago Avenue South, one block south of Minnehaha Parkway.
First Free has two parking lots on the east side of Chicago Avenue—one directly across the street from the church, and a second lot just south of 52nd St, next to Heather’s restaurant. There is also ample street parking around the church.
The north entrance (labeled Door #1) is handicap accesible, and we have an elevator located just inside that door.
What should I wear?
First Free is a casual environment, so feel free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable.
How do I get connected?
