What if Jesus was Serious?
Speaker: Jay Pound Series: What If Jesus Was Serious? Scripture: Matthew 13:31–32
Jesus’ central message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near” (Mt. 4.17).
How, according to Jesus, does the kingdom of God grow? (Mt. 13.31-32).
- Through the work and power of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 3.6; Mt. 16.18).
- Through the obedience of his Spirit-filled followers to his commands (Mt. 5.13-16).
Challenge: reject cynicism and cultivate a mustard seed perspective.
