And It Was Good: Incarnation

In the beginning…God made it, and it was good (Gn. 1)

• Sin is a rejection of partnership with God that results in damage to creation (Gn. 3.5, 11). 
• Sin alienates humans from God, from nature and from each other (Gn. 3).

How will God respond to the corruption of creation and the human rejection of partnership with him? 

• God responds with costly love that re-affirms the great value of all he has made (Rm. 8.1-4). 
• The incarnation is a breathtaking act of divine solidarity with creation against sin.

The incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection are an irrefutable and unsurpassable declaration of the love of God for all creation - including you!
