His Apprentices

We are all apprentices to someone or something (Joshua 24:2)

Jesus invites us to be apprentices in his way of life (Matthew 5-6).

• Jesus’ truth + Jesus’ way = Jesus life (Eugene Peterson).

Practices are tools, things we do that are designed to change us (Mark 1:35).

• How would you describe the way of life that our culture produces? Who do we become if we just go with the flow?
• What are some areas of life where you find it especially challenging to live in the way Jesus calls us to live?
• What is one area where you wish that you were more like Jesus? Can you think of a practice that can help change you in that direction?
