Opening Our Eyes to the Way of the Cross

What we expect to see can keep us from seeing.

We cannot see rightly without following the way of the Cross.

1. Where have been some popular stories in our culture about what it means to be great that seem to run contrary to the Way of the Cross?
2. What has been a greater temptation for you- the temptation to dominate and climb the ranks of status and power at all costs or to mistakenly believe that endless self-sacrifice is what God requires of you?
3. What is one practical way where you can pursue the good of another and the healing of the world by carrying your cross?
