• Be slow to judge, none of us see clearly and eventually we all need mercy (7.1-5) 
• Gentle correction from a friend is valued by the wise (7.6)
• Make prayer your first resort; God is present and good. (7.7-8)

Application

• Be ruthless with yourself and and gracious toward others
• Do to others what you would have them do to you (7.12)

1. Resisting judgment is difficult. What is a practice that might help you head off that temptation?
2. When was the last time you received helpful feedback or correction? Who are some of the people in your life that you would trust to provide gentle and honest correction? 
3. What are some of the things God would tell you to ask for more often?
