A Guide to Right Relationships

The Mosaic law was intended to guide ordinary, fallen people into a right relationship with a holy God and with each other. 

Right relationships are about good standing, not perfection (Gn. 15.6).

• Successful partnership requires right relationships (Ex. 19.5-6).

• From the beginning, the sacrificial system made a way to restore a broken relationship with God (Lv. 16.29-30).

A right relationship with God requires undivided allegiance (Ex. 20.3)

A right relationship with God requires right relationships with each other (Ex. 23.6-9)

Successful covenant partnership with God today still requires us to pursue right relationships with God and with each other (Mt. 5.20).
