Scripture: 2 Corinthians 8:1–15
Our God is a generous God.
Three characteristics of generosity:
- Generosity is a lifestyle. (v. 2)
- Generosity is a heart-attitude. (v. 3-4)
- Generosity is an outflow of God’s grace. (v. 5)
The Challenge:
- Follow the example of the Macedonian churches. (v. 6-8)
- Follow the example of Jesus Christ. (v. 9)
Take Home Idea: God’s grace is the ultimate motivation for giving.
