When can we expect to see the full transformation that God has promised us? 

In the future: this suffering and struggle is only temporary (16-18) 

What does that look like? And how can we be sure?

We have a 2 part, 2 stage hope (5.1-5)

• Stage 1: Present, ongoing, inner transformation (5.5, 17)
• Stage 2: Future, Instantaneous and outer transformation (4.14; 5.1-4)

Application: Confident of both the resurrection and the final judgment, we should our goal to please God in all we do (5.6-10)
