God’s Good News Story

Key Event #1:  Creation 

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”  Gen. 1:1

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. . .  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”  Gen. 1:26, 27

Key Event #2:  The Fall 

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her and he ate.”  Gen. 3:6

Key Event #3:   Redemption

“God demonstrates his own love for us in this; While we were still sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Key Event #4:  Restoration

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first earth had passed away and the sea was no more.”  Revelation 21:1
