A warning to the wealthy: Do not neglect the poor!
- What we do here matters to God (19-21)
- The rich man is in Hades because of how he lived on earth.
- All people (especially the poor!) matter to God (22)
- If they matter to God, they should matter to us
- We cannot claim that we did not know (27-31)
- “They have Moses and the Prophets…”
- And we have Jesus!
A Prayer of Response: God help us to see and care for those around us as you see and care for them.
