The work of Jesus fundamentally changed the way all people worship (4.21-23).

• Because of Jesus, worshipers now have direct and constant access to the presence of God
• Jesus’ perfect sacrifice made possible  a much greater experience of God’s presence
• Because of Jesus, the old barriers to worship have been removed

So what does that mean for us, on this side of the cross? (Rm. 12.1-2)

• Our worship cannot be restricted to one hour, building or form
• Worship entails offering up our whole selves, body and mind to God, as living sacrifices
