• He is self-existent. 

• He is self-sufficient.

• He is the Creator.

• We are His creation, made in His image.

• We are His creation, totally dependent upon Him.

God’s Story begins with God telling us about His good gifts.

• He gives us a relationship with Him. 3:8

• He gives us community with others. 1:27; 2:18, 20-22 

• He gives us responsibility and work. 2:15, 19 

Take Home Idea:  From the very beginning of God’s story, God speaks His love to us.
