The Benefits of Giving

Scripture: Philippians 4:10–20

Paul rejoices in his friends’ giving . . .   (vv. 10-13)

      But not because he needed it.

 

Giving indicates partnership in the ministry.  (vv. 14-16)

 

Giving is evidence of spiritual growth.   (vv. 17-18)

 

Giving means we will be well taken care of.   (vv. 18-19)

 

Take Home Idea: Give generously, not because the ministry needs it, but because you want to share in what God is doing.
