Call to Courage

Joshua 1

God is faithful and true to His promises.

• When God calls you to do something, the results rest with Him. vv. 2-3; 6

• No matter the circumstances, God is with you.  vv. 5, 9

Signs we are trusting God.

• Obedience.  vs. 2

• Anchored to God’s Word.  vv. 7-8

• Living strong and courageous.  vv. 6-7, 9, 18.

Take Home Idea:  Courage in times like these requires us to trust our God who stands behind His promises.
