Genesis 1:26-28, 1 Corinthians 12:4-31

Does God need my help?

• No. But he wants it
• Humanity is designed and created to cooperate with God in creation (Gn. 1.26-28)

Why does God think this will work?

• Because God empowers every believer (1 Cor. 12.6)
• Every believer has a gift from the Spirit (12.7)
• Because God directs the work (12.27-28)
• We are the body, but Christ is the head (Col. 1.18)
