“He [Jesus] is the radiant light of God’s glory and the perfect copy of his nature.” (Hebrews 1:3, JB)

 

Looking at Jesus to correct our understanding of God: three plumb lines (Mark 1:40-42)

  • Plumb Line 1: God is personal
  • Plumb Line #2: God is compassionate
  • Plumb Line #3: God is willing to help

 

Take Home Idea: We never see God more clearly than when we look at Jesus.
