How are Daniel and his friends able to flourish in a hostile culture?
    - Through the application of wisdom

2 Kinds of Wisdom:
    - Practical Wisdom
          — Start with the wisdom God has already given you (14)
          — Daniel’s wisdom does not eliminate the need for God, it sets the stage for God’s power to                    be put on display (27-28)

     - Spiritual Wisdom
          — Daniel immediately seeks God in prayer with others (17-18)
          — We need God and others (27-28)

Results (46-49):
     - Daniel (& his friends) flourish
     - A pagan king praises Daniel’s God

Take Home Idea:
When we live with wisdom in a hostile world, we set the stage for God to reveal His glory.
