                Southerner sent to the Northern Kingdom.

The Imposters:

• Comforts of this life ... rob God’s blessing. 5:11, 6:1-6, 3:15

• Religious activity ... relinquishes God’s transformation. 4:4,5; 5:21-23;

Result: Detached and Drifted Away. 4:6-11

God’s Desire:

• Seek Repentance. 5:4-6

• Seek Righteousness and Justice. 5:14-15; 24

Take Home Idea: How we treat others is more important to God, than the wealth we have or the rituals we follow.
