Mentoring Friends

2 Timothy 1:8-10; 3:10-11; 4:1-5

Why do Christians need to cultivate mentoring friendships?

3. Reasons:

 
  Reason #1: We all have something worth sharing with others (2Tm. 1.8-10).

 

  Reason #2: Some things are caught, not taught (2Tm. 3.10-11).

     • 2a: Not everything about the Christian life can be learned in a classroom.

     • 2b: People are already “catching” things from you.

Reason #3: The Math Works (2Tm. 4.1-5)

Encouragement: You have something worth sharing, and God is wants to use you to share it.

Challenge: Cultivate some mentoring friendships.
