Front Door Communities are opportunities to naturally and intentionally gather around shared interests and activities as a way to practice the Way of Jesus in culturally relevant ways. These communities serve as a welcoming “front door,” inviting those outside the church into meaningful relationships that foster a sense of belonging and open the door for discipleship. Whether it’s board games, a sport, a book or movie club, we are looking for people to lead groups; if you’re interested, contact paul.anleitner@firstfreechurch.org

Board Game Group
We’re not talking Monopoly and Clue here. Gather together to play some of the top games in the exciting world of modern board games like Root, Dune: Imperium, Camelot, and more. Try out new indie games from local board game developers. Contact Garth Natwick for more information: gonatwick94@gmail.com.
Jackknife Club
Crafters and Whittlers of all age learn how to make bracelets, necklaces, and carve pendant pieces or other wood workings of symbolic significance to bless the needy both locally and abroad. Work on creative projects and learn the art of whittling. Contact Doug Nelson for more information: doug.nelson@firstfreechurch.org.
Live Music in the Neighborhood
Enjoy live, local music in our neighborhood community at Carbone's on Cedar Ave as our resident drummer Allan Guidon and his band "Art Department" play a variety of instrumental jazz, blues, latin, and groove music. Come bless a local business, invite a friend, and connect people in our church to others in our neighboring communities of South Minneapolis. Contact Allan Guidon for more information: allenguindon@me.com.
