Do you feel God calling you to get involved with a local ministry? We'll be holding a two-week elective class in late September during second service Sunday School time, where you'll hear from a pair of organizations about their work -- and how you can be part of it.

• Sep. 19: Arrive Ministries lives out God's command to love, welcome, serve, and walk alongside refugees and immigrants in Minnesota practically, socially and spiritually. Mike Bergman, executive director of Arrive Ministries, will share about ways to get involved and build relationships with newly arriving families, helping them get used to life in their new home, including an opportunity to form a church team to walk alongside a family during their first year in America
• Sep. 26: Damascus Way serves individuals reentering society from incarceration, supporting them with a stable housing pathway, employment and career readiness programming, and healthy community connections. Tierre Webster, executive director of Damascus Way, will share about opportunities to get involved and make a difference, including forming a go-to team at First Free to invest in closer partnership and relationships.
