Dee received a B. S. in Nursing and a Master of Science degree with a focus on Public Health/Mental Health and minors in Education and Social Science from the University of Minnesota. She has taught at the University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota, Bethel College and Normandale Community College and established the role of clinical nurse specialist at Pilot City Health Center and Esse Associates, Inc. In 2003, Dee completed a Parish Nurse Course and is pleased to have the opportunity to use her skills at First Evangelical Free Church. She joined the First Free Church Staff in April 2005.
Dee lives with her husband, David, in Bloomington. They have been actively involved with the Seekers
Multi-culture Class at First Evangelical Free Church. This ministry began during the fall of 1998 when they began hosting Chinese graduate students attending the University of Minnesota through the China Outreach Ministries. Dee and David enjoy traveling, walking and spending time with family and friends.
