If Jesus is in fact the King of all creation, then how should we respond as his people?

We should give him our allegiance

3 Components of Allegiance

• Allegiance requires mental assent
• “Jesus is the King”
• Allegiance requires a public profession
• Jesus is MY King
• Allegiance requires embodied faithfulness
• I obey Jesus

Take Home Idea: Jesus’ resurrection revealed him to be the rightful King of all creation and worthy of our full allegiance.
