got purpose?

Prayer Focus: Ministry

  • Pray for the truth to be put into practice that "every ministry is important," whether visible or behind the scenes.
  • Pray that people will discover and use their spiritual gifts and abilities for God's eternal purposes.
  • Pray for each person to have a servant's heart and serve wherever needed.
  • Pray that the Ministry Fair event will encourage everyone to become involved in ministry.
  • Pray for ministry leaders to inspire and equip new volunteers as they shepherd them.

"May our church be a place where the hurting, the hopeless,
the discouraged, the depressed, the frustrated and confused can find
love, acceptance, guidance and encouragement." ~ R. Warren ~

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."    [1 Peter 4:10 & 11 (NIV)]

"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace"    [Acts 20:24 (NIV)]

A Thought From God's Word:
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. [2 Timothy 3:16-17]
