Prayer Focus: Connecting in Fellowship

October 26, 2003

  • Pray for unity and harmony in our church body. Ask God to enable us to be people that honor His Name.
  • Ask God to help us resolve any conflicts in ways that please Him and promote unity.
  • Pray that we will abound in God's love for each other.
  • Pray that those who visit our church will be warmly welcomed. Pray that they will return and get connected into long-lasting relationships.
  • Pray the got purpose? campaign will encourage many to become committed to our church family, to get connected with an Adult Bible Fellowship, and to take the steps of membership.

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God." [1John 4:7 (NIV)]

"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose." [Philippians 2:1& 2 (NIV)]

A Thought From God's Word:
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Who has understood the mind of the Lord, or instructed him as his counselor? Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding? [Isaiah 40:12-14]
