Prayer Update

September 22-28, 2002

This Week's Prayer Focus:

THE CAMPAIGN TEAM

  • Pray for each person involved in the leadership and inner workings of the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign to rely on God's sufficiency and strength.

  • Pray for unity, harmony, and lasting friendships to develop among team members and our church body.

  • Pray for the physical health and stamina of all pastors, staff, and lay leaders on the Campaign Team.

  • Pray for the effective communication of plans between the Campaign leaders, the church staff, and ministry leaders.

  • Pray for God's anointing power to accomplish great things through each team member.

"And He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (nas)

"I am convinced that the most outstanding enemy in prayer is the lack of knowledge of what we are in Christ, and of what he is in us, and what he did for us, and of our standing and legal rights before the throne." E. W. Kenyon

"One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts." Psalm 145:4 (niv)

A Thought From God's Word:
