Where is the best place to "live" ?

- In the "house of prayer" - v. 17

  • There is always the danger of reducing religion to a commercial transaction.
  • The contrast to religion as transaction . . . is prayer.

 

Prayer is paying attention to God. vv. 15-18

 

 

Prayer produces fruit. vv. 12-14; 20-21

 

 

Prayer requires faith. vv. 22-24

 

 

Prayer requires forgiveness. v. 25

 

 

Take Home Idea: The #1 place to live in 2012 is in God through prayer.
