Law of Christ's Kingdom: retaliation and revenge are absolutely forbidden. vv. 14, 17, 19, 21
Trust God. vs. 19. "Revenge" belongs to God.
Allows us to forgive.
Do Positive Good. Bless them. Vs. 14
Live at peace with them. Vs. 18.
Serve them. Vs. 20
Take Home Idea: Reject the law of the jungle - evil for evil - in favor of the law of Christ's kingdom- repaying good for evil. |
