Myth: God only tolerates us . . . because He has to.

 

Truth: God loves us.

 

  • He has loved us . . . past tense.  John 3:16

  

  • He loves us . . . present tense.  Revelation 1:5

  

  • He will always love us . . . future tense.  Romans 8: 35-39

 

The permanence of His love is proven on the cross.

 

Take Home Idea: God far more than tolerates us . . . He loves us with a timeless, never-ending passion.
