God is in the process of transforming us to share in His glory. (vv. 17-18)

• Glory = greatness on display and celebrated by others.
• You are being transformed so that God's greatness will be put on display in you!

The road to glory leads through suffering.

Three Groans:

• Creation groans. (vv. 19-22)
• We groan. (vs. 23)
• The Holy Spirit groans. (vv. 26-27)

How do we deal with our groans?

We wait in hope. (vv. 19-25)

Our hope is . . . (vs. 28)

. . . to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. (vv. 29 -30)

Take Home Idea: God is taking all your groans, and He is transforming them into glory.
