Two Saving Works of Easter:
Freedom from all condemnation. (v. 1) Delivered from sin's penalty.
Justified = No record against you.
Freedom from sin's power. (vv. 2-4) Powerless: Law shows us that we sin, but it can't keep us from sinning.
God Did: "Sending his own Son . . . to be a sin offering."
The Key: "for those who are in Christ Jesus."
Take Home Idea: Because of what Jesus did on Easter, you are free! |
