Are You Looking For A God . . .Who Is Glorious? John 17:1-5 Pastor Joel Sutton; September 5, 2010 Series: The God You Are Looking For
Jesus' prayer is the real Lord's prayer.
He identifies the hour. (vs. 1)
He makes a single request. (vv. 1, 5)
Jesus is praying for a reversal of the
"kenosis". (Phil. 2:6-11)
Why is this so important?
The Jesus we worship is the glorified Jesus. (Rev.
1:10, 12-18) Getting a glimpse of the glorified Jesus will transform everything you do.
Take Home Idea: The only Jesus you know, the only Jesus you worship, the only Jesus you serve is the glorified, majestic, cosmic Lord of Heaven and King of Earth.
