Three Presumptions: (v. 13)

• We count on Tomorrow.
• We count on Making Choices.
• We count on Our Success.

We are being arrogantly self-sufficient.

Three Problems: (vv. 14, 16)

• We do not know the future.
• We have forgotten our frailty.
• We are boasting.

The Remedy: Dependence on God. (v. 15)

Take Home Idea: When your plans are independent of God, it exposes your indifference to the will of God.
