The command: "Don't show favoritism!" (vv. 1-4)

Favoritism is inconsistent with God's character. (vv. 1-4)

Favoritism is inconsistent with God's choice. (vv. 5-7)

Favoritism is inconsistent with God's command. (vv. 8-13)

Take Home Idea: A faith that works treats others, not with favoritism, but in a way that is in their best interest.
