Test 3: How Do You Respond To The Word?

James 1:19-27

Three Steps:

Step 1: I must Be a Hearer of God's Word. (vv. 19-20)

Step 2: I must Be a Receiver of God's Word. (vv. 21)

• Our "soil" must be cleared.
• Our "soil" requires humility.

Step 3: I must Be a "Doer" of God's Word. (vv. 22-27)

How do I do this?

• Reflect on it.
• Review it.
• Remember it.
• Respond to it.
