We can be merry this Christmas . . .

. . . because God's anger has turned to comfort. (V. 1)

. . . because the Lord is trustworthy. (V. 2)

. . . because God is never far away. (V. 6)

. . . because God is your well of salvation. (V. 3)

If you have reason to be merry . . .

. . . you have reason to sing. (Vv. 4-6)

Take Home Idea: We have reason to be merry because He is our salvation that came at Christmas!

A Thought From God's Word:
[Jesus Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. [Colossians 1:15-17]
