Community Outreach

Serve a Meal!

All are invited to come help serve a meal and meet street people, many of whom love Jesus, at the Marie Sandvik Center (11th Ave & Franklin). When: Today from 6-9 PM. This will be a great opportunity for anyone of any age to experience the joy of serving and loving others who are less fortunate during the Christmas season.

 






News & Notes

We offer our condolences and prayers to the family of David (Rod) Holman. Rod went home to the Lord on December 16th. Services were held at First Free yesterday.

Beverly Nordell's children, Janet, Joyce and Rollin, thank each of you for your kind words and thoughtful expressions of sympathy on her Homegoing.

We will be receiving an Advent Conspiracy offering for Urban Impact Ministries of New Orleans today along with our normal offering. Please designate "Advent Conspiracy" on your check memo or offering envelope.

Today, immediately following the 2nd service for two hours, we will be holding an Open House at First Free's new property, 5155 Chicago. Stop in and take a look!

Creekside Clubs and Zion Youth Group are taking a break for Christmas! Activities will resume on January 13th at 6:30 PM.

Plan Ahead! We will be having one service at 9:30 AM next Sunday. Children, Youth, and Adult classes (except Seekers) will not be meeting.

Child Dedication: On Jan. 17th you will have an opportunity to dedicate your child to the Lord. Please contact the church office (olivia.lueth {at} firstfreechurch.org) to participate.

Class 101: Exploring Church Membership: If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of First Free, our next class will be held Jan. 24th from 4-8 PM. Dinner provided. Mark your Welcome Card or call the church office to attend.

A great way to connect at First Free-Join a Small Group Bible Study! New groups launch January 17th. Try building community through studying God's Word together!

Interested in baptism? Our next baptismal service is scheduled for Jan. 31st. Contact the church office or mark your Welcome Card if you would like to participate.
