News & Notes Congratulations to Jeremy & Erin Resler! They are the proud parents of Gregory Gerald Resler who was born on April 29. Blood Pressure Checks will be available today during our Fellowship Time. Pray for Pastor Joel as he takes two weeks of study time (May 12-23) to plan and prepare sermons for the coming year. Pray for Pastor Eric who will be preaching on May 18 & 25. Register for VBC Power Lab today! Kids, register today and get "POP ROCKS" Candy! Volunteers are needed as well. Look for the bulletin insert and fill it out. Bring registration forms to the gym or turn them in at the Creekside Canteen. Check out the Power Lab VBC Donation Station in the foyer to donate food, cash, or "science-related" items such as white lab coats, crazy hair, beakers, science lab tables or goggles. Donations can be put outside Beth Brown's office (201B). Did you miss the Children's Musical? If you are interested in a DVD of our recent production, Barbecue for Ben, sign up at the Media Request Box. There is a suggested donation of $5. Immediate Need: Recent news reports coming from Myanmar indicate that the cyclone death toll is soaring and up to 1 million people may be homeless. God has shown favor to the EFCA by allowing us to develop an exciting ministry partnership with the Evangelical Free Church of Myanmar. We have established a Myanmar Relief Fund and are ready to accept donations.
