In a merciless world like ours, how are we to respond?

The Merciful: Matthew 9:13

• Show God's love towards others.

The Merciful: Luke 10:30-37 (Parable of the Good Samaritan)

• See distress and respond withcompassion and action.
• Pay the costs.
• Respond even if person is an enemy.

The Merciful = Show God's love in action.

The Merciful: Matthew 18:21-35 (Parable of the Unmerciful Servant)

• Have received God's rich mercy.

The Merciful: Receive God's approval.

Take Home Idea: Those who know they have received God's rich mercy will show God's rich mercy and receive God's smile of approval.
