News & Notes

Our prayers go out to the family of Stan Johnson. Stan went home to be with the Lord on February 18. His memorial service will be held at First Free this summer. Memorials can be given to First Free Church or Bethany Covenant.

Senior Singles will meet for lunch this afternoon at 12:45 PM. Meet at Steak 'n Ale.

Children's Musical Sign-up: Rehearsals started Wednesday, February 20th and will run each Wednesday from 5:00-6:00 PM at church. Supper will be served at 6:00 PM. The Musical is planned for Friday, April 25th. If you have questions, please contact Jan Nyholm or Beth Brown.

Our updated 2008 Facebooks are available for you to pick up today in the foyer. These Facebooks will replace our old church directories. Women's Guild is planned for Tuesday, March 4, at 1:00 PM. Pastor Joel Sutton will be speaking.

Vacation Bible Camp is moving up to the week of June 23-27. Please note this when making your summer plans.

Baby Dedication: On Sunday, March 9, you will have an opportunity to dedicate your child to the Lord. Please mark your Welcome Card if you would like to participate.

Fresh Encounter: Mark your calendars for our next Fresh Encounter Prayer & Praise Event on Sunday, March 16, at 6 PM.

THINKING SUMMER? THINK CAMP! First Free is again offering partial scholarships for students through high school age to attend Shamineau, Rock Ridge or Camp Nathanael. Pick up a scholarship application at the welcome center or Creekside Canteen. Camp information is also available at the Canteen.
