Meekness Demonstrated:

  • Abraham (Gen 13): Willing to lay aside his rights and consider others over himself.
  • Moses (Numbers 12): When challenged, is not defensive.
  • David (1 Samuel 26): Strength and conviction to respond with grace.
  • Jesus (Matthew 11:29): Completely surrendered His power to His Father.

 

Meekness Defined: An inner quality of humility that is reflected outwardly in how we deal with others.

 

Meekness on Display:

  • Speech Test
  • Servant Test
  • Success Test

 

Meekness Dividend: An inheritance we can count on!

 

Take Home Idea: Our humility in our relationship to God ought to be reflected in our gentleness and humility as we deal with others.
