News & Notes

Children's Musical Sign-up Beings Today: Rehearsals start on Wednesday, February 20 and will run each Wednesday from 5:00-6:00 PM at church. Supper will be served at 6:00 PM. The Musical is planned for Friday, April 25th. If you have questions, please contact Jan Nyholm or Beth Brown.

All women are welcome to Women's Guild on Tuesday, February 5 at 1:00 PM. Our speaker will be Julie Morgenstern. She and her husband train missionaries going overseas.

If you are new to First Free, you are invited to a Guest Lunch on Sunday, February 17, at 12:15 PM in Room #105. Child care will be provided. If you would like to attend, please mark your Welcome Card or call Cindy in the office (612) 827-4705.

OUTREACH WEEKEND: We kick off the weekend with a dessert reception for Lareau & Evie Lindquist (Barnabas Intl.) on Friday, February 8, 7:00 PM at the Symington's home. On Sunday, February 10, Lareau Lindquist will preach at both services. David & Patsy Alfors (EFCA ReachGlobal) will speak to combined 9:30 and 11:00 AM Adult Bible Fellowships.

The next Quarterly Business Meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 11, at 7:00 PM. The following people have been nominated for Council: Church Chair: Alan Peterson; Council Secretary: Jeff Olson; Council: Ardese Barrett (re-elect); John Symington (re-elect); Apryl Hultstrand (re-elect); Johanna Holliday and Joel Burns.

Attention Actors: We are planning to bring the Word to life through dynamic scripture readings. If you are an actor and are willing to work hard on your craft, prepare something to read for us and come to an audition on February 12, from 6:45-8:00 PM at First Free. For more info, contact Pastor Eric.

Women's Neighborhood Bible Study & MOPS are looking for child care workers. Call Gail (612) 823-3114 for Wednesday Bible Study and Marilyn (612) 724-9311 for Friday MOPS.
