Marilyn Healy, our guest, will present her heart-warming ministry on Children's Shelter of Cebu. You won't want to miss this! Also, bring your shoebox gifts for Marie Sandvik Mission.

Jim Forstrom, EFCA Archivist, will be at our church today. He will have a new book available for sale during our fellowship time called A Living Legacy - A Pictorial History of the EFCA. The cost is $20 (including tax).

Chaim Class Social, Let the Joy Begin, Saturday, December 7, 5:00 PM, at Jon & Carrie Boyum's house (7432 Chicago Avenue South). It's a potluck so bring a dish to share. Also, please bring a white elephant gift per person attending the party. RSVP to Vanessa Beckett at (612) 721-6885.

Sojourner's Class Christmas Social will be held on Saturday, December 7th. Meet at church at 10:00 AM. We will take the van to Goldenman's Christmas Tree Farm in Zimmerman. More information will be available in class this morning. If you have questions, call Lori Peterson at (612) 722-9793.

The Agape Christmas Banquet will be held at the Timber Lodge Steakhouse (see Agape Loveletter for map), Sunday, December 8 at 6:00 PM. Greg Anderson, a blind singer and keyboard artist, will perform many Christmas selections.

Would you be willing to donate a dozen Christmas cookies for the Dinner & Movie Outreach on December 16 at 5:45 PM? If you can help, please contact Rose Hecker by December 14th.

Could you help make props for the Children's Christmas Program on December 22? The props are quite simple (stars, moon, and camels). Call Holly Powers at (612) 824-2972.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the Manna Lifeline food drive. We received over 100 bags of groceries. The food has been delivered to Salem House food shelf. Thank you to all who organized this, as well!

A Thought From God's Word:
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. [Ephesians 6:11-13]
