March Correction And
Addition Mistakes R Us
Error, Error, Read All About It
For the first time in recent memory (see the benefit
of memory loss?) the LoveLetter boo booed. (Although the late
legendary Editor Mel Larson of the Beacon once said that because some
people enjoy looking for mistakes, he always put one or two in each
issue.)
First of all, the plan for Mike Bee to teach two weeks on Quiet Time was lost in a pile of scraps of paper (see below) and his first Sunday was given to a missionary speaker -- who gave us a very insightful glimpse at Turkey ministry (no, that does not refer to helping the editor.) So, in all this we see how all things work together for good. Also, the date for the outreach to the Children's Mission had to be changed to April 8.
To Bee or not to Bee Mike Bee will teach today, March 18, on the topic of :"Evaluating Your Quiet Time." If we need to be told to shape up and get with the program, what better person to tell us than the gentle giant. Mike is also a real example of humility and sincere desire to be open to all that God offers us. We ought to eagerly anticipate our time with the Lord. |
