Women's Guild Christmas Luncheon: Tuesday, 1 PM, at Vi Fjellman's Party Room. Bring a Christmas tea cup for your beverage, and remember your filled shoe boxes for Marie Sandvik. A musical program will be provided. Price: $7. Pick up your tickets today at the Welcome Desk!

All ladies of the church, from ages 10 to 110, are invited to a Christmas Tea this Saturday at 10 AM. Come for a time of sparkling conversations, delicious treats, and inspirational hymns. No cost. If you would like to attend, sign up on your bulletin insert!

Calling Band/Orchestra players:  Those in 7th grade-adults are invited to play with the Cross-Generational Orchestra on Dec. 20th.  Rehearsals are as follows: Dec. 6th & 13th at 12:15-1:15 PM (Lunch included); Sat., Dec. 19th at 9:30-11 AM.  Music will be available Dec. 6th.  Qs? Come decorate First Free for Advent! Church decorating will take place this Friday at 6:30 PM. Contact Melissa Rusnak at 952-426-5922 with questions.

Wanted:  Plain sugar cookie cutouts! Seekers ABF is hosting its annual Christmas gathering and outreach party next Sunday.  Willing to bake an extra dozen cookies and donate them?  Contact Erica Lehner at 612-559-1157. 

First Free's new property (house at 5155 Chicago) is available for rent! If you know of anyone who needs a house, please have them contact the church office. Rental rate is $900 a month plus utilities. More information on the house and lease can be available after serious interest is established.

The church office is updating First Free's offering envelope mailing list. These envelopes have your specific giving number on them and help our offering counters to assign proper fund designation. If you would like to be added to next quarter's list, please contact Olivia at olivia.lueth {at} firstfreechurch.org or call the church office.

Invite Our Community!

Come and be hands and feet to our community TODAY! Take 15 minutes to help reach out with Christ's love. Building off of the Neighborhood Street Fest last June, we'll invite the community to our Christmas sermon series. We need individuals and families who could take a half block or block and put the invites on front doors. We'll meet at the back of the church at noon today.

Thank you to those who donated items for Operation Christmas Child! Clubs packed 116 shoe boxes this past Wednesday!

Praise, pies and fellowship! Please bring your favorite pie to share with others for the Harvest Praise Service/Pie Social this Wed. at 7 PM.  Singles-please bring a whip cream topping. Families-please bring a pie to share. 

Celebrate Thanksgiving at church; come at 3 PM on Thursday.  Turkey, potatoes, and drinks provided.  Please bring food to share and games to play. Salem Church will be joining us. Call Felix and Maureen Juarez 612-866-6913 for more info.

Community Outreach

Serve a Meal!

All are invited to come help serve a meal and meet street people, many of whom love Jesus, at the Marie Sandvik Center (11th Ave & Franklin).

When: December 20th, 6-9 PM.

Marie Sandvik is a Christian based non-profit charitable organization providing for the material and spiritual needs of the poor living in the inner city. This will be a great opportunity for anyone of any age to experience the joy of serving and loving others who are less fortunate during the Christmas season.

Come hear how God is moving at First Free! Attend the next Quarterly Business Meeting tomorrow at 7 PM.

Creekside Kids' Clubs will be packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child this Wed.! We are looking for donations of small toys, school supplies, hygiene products, and plastic shoeboxes. More information is available at the Creekside Canteen or Welcome Desk. Contact Beth Brown with questions.

It's an all church Thanksgiving Food Drive!  Please pick up an empty bag(s) in the church foyer near the Welcome desk.  Needed items are listed on the bag.  Return donations to the church foyer by next Sunday for distribution to the food shelf.

New Life Family Services, Minneapolis

 

New Life opens its doors and hearts to women and men who believe abortion is the only solution to an unplanned pregnancy. Volunteers are needed at New Life in the areas of office work, men's and women's counseling, prayer, graphic design, and various as-needed roles for special events. Today, after first service, Christina Olson and Holly Doble will be providing free blood pressure checks for any who are interested. They will be located in the downstairs hallway (near Rooms 105/106).

It's an all church Thanksgiving Food Drive!  Please pick up an empty bag(s) in the church foyer near the Welcome desk.  Needed items are listed on the bag.  Return donations to the church foyer by Nov. 22 for distribution to the food shelf. Thank you for your support!

The Senior Singles lunch will be today at the Olive Garden (American Blvd.) at 12:30 PM. Contact Vi Fjellman for information or reservation.

Congratulations to the Reslers! Jeremy, Erin, and big-brother Gregory welcomed Isaiah John to their family on October 26th!

We offer our condolences and prayers to the family of Beverly Nordell. Bev passed away on October 28th. A visitation will be held today at 2 PM at First Free and service at 3 PM.
